About petitions:
Petitions (initiatives) must be circulated (by a circulator), signed by eligible registered voters, and submitted to the appropriate county election official following precise procedures.
Petitions are circulated in what are known as sections. Sections are simply identical copies of the petition being circulated by different people (circulators) in different places. Each section consist of the complete text of the initiative, followed by a signature area. A single circulator often will be collecting signatures for a single section of a petition.
In our case, an entire petition is on a single page. Many times the circulator will also be signing the same petition page.
The form and wording of a petition is specific, and if a petition or any section deviates, it is not accepted by the county elections official.
Please print the petitions from here. We now have petitions for multiple signatures.
Important! Print the front and back of a single sheet of paper.

Sign the petition following the instructions shown below. Read the special notes, election officials are picky.
The registered voter(s) and the circulator's signature area will appear on the petition as follows:

Special Notes:
All signers on a single signature page of a petition must be registered voters in the same county designated on the petition.
You may be both a signer (only once please) AND a circulator (often we hope).
Important! Whether you are a circulator or signer, your current residence address, which you must fill in, must match your current voter registration address. If the addresses currently do not match up, please re-register before signing and sending in your petition.
Important! If you gather any signatures for persons other than yourself, then you are considered a signature gatherer. In that case, please print and sign this form also. Cut it into thirds and mail one part with each petition.
